“Sorry, that page doesn’t exist!” … this shows whenever I try to read someones profile on twitter – because I apparently used Twitter more than they cared for. #Fail!
It was me that was aggressive, but the fact that they choose to show you a “page not found” when you’re out of API calls, that’s what annoys me.
A more meaningful message would have been better, specially when visiting a users profile. “Sorry, that page doesn’t exists” made me think for a moment that the user actually didn’t exist 🙂
Maybe your Twitter client is a bit too aggressive in refreshing? Or perhaps your ISP reverse proxies. Hmm.
